Training Saints
We are on Sugar Loaf beach in Portishead on the Bristol Channel with direct access to the sea. We offer you a very warm welcome whether you are a Cadet, an experienced dinghy racer or a beginner, family or single, young or old.

Club racing makes up the largest part of our sailing programme but we also run events throughout the year encouraging the non-competitive side of our sport. We open the club every year at our Try Sail day, and other light-hearted events include the Docks Fun Regatta, cruises up and down the Channel, and a social programme. There are also Open events to which all dinghy sailors are invited.

As a member you don’t need your own boat as we have a club fleet available for hire.

We are proud of our National Champions and World Championship competitors. However we offer sailing to everyone no matter how good you are. The training side of the Club is working towards becoming an RYA Training Centre meaning we can offer formal sailing qualifications from beginner upwards. Also our thriving Cadet section is a great way for youngsters to get afloat starting at the Lake Grounds or in Portishead Dock.
